Nix Style Life Photography - Terms and Conditions

By booking a photography session with Nix Style Life Photography (Krista Nix),  I agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

 
1. Booking and Payment
A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied toward the total session fee.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the session before the photography begins.
 
2. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the scheduled session to avoid forfeiture of the deposit.
If the Client fails to appear at the scheduled session without prior notice (“No-Show”), the deposit will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.
Rescheduling is permitted once if notice is given at least 7days in advance. Rescheduling requests made within 6 days of the session will result in an additional fee of $25 Fee.
3. Liability and Safety
The Client acknowledges that the photography sessions will take place on a farm that includes horses, goats, chickens, ducks, turkeys, dogs, cats, and other animals. The Client assumes full responsibility for their safety and the safety of any minors or guests they bring to the session.
The Client releases the Photographer, Nix Style Life ( Krista & Justin Nic ), and all associated entities from any liability for personal injury, accidents, or property damage that may occur on or around the property, or in connection with the animals present on the farm.
The Client agrees to follow all safety instructions provided by the Photographer and understands that failure to comply with these instructions may result in immediate termination of the session without a refund.
 
4. Image Delivery and Use
The Photographer will provide edited digital images to the Client within 2 weeks following the session. No unedited or RAW images will be provided.
Images are delivered via an online gallery or other means agreed upon by the Photographer and the Client.
The Photographer retains full copyright to all images taken during the session. The Client is granted a limited license to print, share, and display the images for personal use only.
The Client agrees not to alter, edit, crop, or apply filters to the images in any way.
The Photographer reserves the right to use any images taken during the session for promotional, marketing, portfolio, or website purposes, unless the Client specifically requests otherwise in writing before the session.
 
5. Model Release
By booking a session, the Client grants the Photographer the right to use and publish photographs of the Client, including any minors or family members present, for promotional, advertising, and portfolio purposes.
If the Client wishes to opt out of the model release, this must be communicated in writing prior to the session.
 
6. Weather and Outdoor Conditions
In the event of inclement weather that prevents the session from taking place, the session will be rescheduled to the next available date.
The Photographer reserves the right to determine if the weather conditions are unsuitable for the session.
 
7. Farm and Property Conduct
The Client agrees to treat all animals, property, and staff at Nix Style Life with respect. Any abusive or reckless behavior may result in the termination of the session without a refund.
Children and pets brought to the session must be supervised at all times. The Photographer reserves the right to end the session if unsafe conditions arise.
 
8. Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable, except in the case of session cancellation by the Photographer.
No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction with the artistic interpretation of the images or the outcome of the session. Clients are encouraged to communicate preferences clearly before and during the session.
 
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes arising under this agreement shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in Williamson County, Tennessee.
In the event of a dispute, the Client agrees to first attempt mediation before resorting to legal action.
 
10. Agreement to Terms
By booking a photography session with Nix Style Stables, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. The Client further agrees to be bound by these Terms during their session.
